Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin a Huge Success |
|
Sustain Dane would like to extend a warm thank you to all who helped make the inaugural Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin conference a great success. We also give a special thanks to the Biopharmaceutical Technology Center Institute, our host and co-coordinator of the Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin conference held on the Promega Corporation campus in Fitchburg, WI. We give another special thanks to our Mendota sponsors Kailo Fund and Promega, and to the BTCI staff for all their help. Over 300 people from all walks of life and place came together on November 13th and 14th to hear from social and scientific innovators working towards a more just and sustainable world. The event infused our local change-makers not only with new perspectives, ideas and connections, but also with energy, inspiration and joy. One attendee described their feelings about the event when they said, "Normally I leave these conferences feeling overwhelmed but today I feel energized". Just a few highlights from this year’s Bioneers Event: - A well deserved tribute to Phil Lewis, the recipient of our first annual Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin Award
